Lauren & Chris
Yesterday was the wedding of my good friends Lauren & Chris.It was absolutely beautiful!
In fact, as far as weddings can go, I think this one turned out pretty much perfect!
The weather was great. The band was awesome. The bride (and the rest of the bridal party too) looked absolutely amazing! And all went according to plan.
But what made the whole day so much more beautiful and full of joy was the focus of both the ceremony and the bride and groom. Yes, on a day that the world so often presents as the most important and happiest day of your life, the one all about you, Lauren and Chris joyfully kept the focus on their Lord and Saviour, and a wedding banquet they are looking forward to even more than their own - that to be enjoyed with Jesus on our gracious arrival to Heaven. It was so encouraging and refreshing to not only see them focused on this, but also just to be reminded of our goal in this journey of life!
Praise God for the way He worked through and in this day! And for these two who He has lovingly brought together!Congratulations Lauren & Chris!!
